Troubleshooting: DataFlow connection issues

Having trouble connecting DataFlow Pro to your data sources? You’re not alone! Connection issues can arise due to API limitations, incorrect credentials, or network restrictions. Here are some common troubleshooting steps:

1️⃣ Check API Keys & Credentials – Ensure your API key or login credentials are correct and up to date.
2️⃣ Verify Network & Firewall Settings – Some networks may block DataFlow’s requests. Try whitelisting DataFlow’s IP.
3️⃣ Confirm Data Source Status – If you're integrating with a third-party service (e.g., Salesforce, Google Sheets), check if it’s operational.
4️⃣ Check for Duplicate Connections – Having multiple connections to the same source can cause conflicts.
5️⃣ Refresh or Reconnect – Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration to refresh the connection.
6️⃣ Review Error Logs – DataFlow provides error messages when a connection fails. Use these logs to identify the root cause.

I had issues connecting to Google Sheets, but it turned out I needed to adjust my sharing permissions. Make sure your file is accessible via API!

If you’re seeing a ‘403 Forbidden’ error, it might be a permission issue. Double-check your API key settings.

For those using a company firewall, ask your IT team to whitelist DataFlow’s servers. That fixed my issue instantly!
